Onderwerp: Search for Dutch relatives (Crol, Groningen)

Hello,

firstly I'm sorry I don't speak Dutch. I'm German and in search for Dutch relatives.
My grandfather found out that his mother was born illegitimate. His grandfather was a Young Dutch, who was in Germany to study. That's were he met my great great grandmother. She got pregant, but they did not marry and he left to go back to the Netherlands. No one spoke a word about it  again.
But for a little while now my grandfather is eager to find out more about his grandfather and his family.
He found out that his grandfather's name was Frederik Adolf Crol, he was born in August 1883 in Scheemda, Groningen. In 1909 he immigrated into the US and lived in Cuyahoga, Ohio for a while. But he died in Groningen in 1974 and is burried at Haren Eshof.

He also had a son called Frederik Karel Crol, which was born in 1922 and died in 1991 and is also buried at Haren Eshof.
Now of course, we were wondering if there are any relatives alive. I've been searching for a while but I can't find any information on any children that Frederik Karel might have had.
So now I was wondering if any of you might be able to help me, or at least give me a hint where to look or who to call maybe.
Thank you so much, in advance!
